Haylee sent the following text from her first day at the state program in Idaho Falls: "Today was pretty tiring :) haha getting up at 4, driving 9 hours, meeting 39 new girls, practicing interview skills, and learning our fitness individuals was quite a day !! I have already met quite a few friends! My host family is amazing! I am officially captain sparkles haha :) my nickname my host brothers chase (seabiscut) and tanner (captain glitter) gave me :) now I am writing a 3 page ethics essay then headed to bed!!!!!!"
