Hazel - Female German Shepherd/Deerhound. 4 months old, 1st vaccination, wormed and de-flead. Hi, my name is Hazel and Im a dizzy dog. I have not been taught anything and no-one did any training with me. I have to say in my defence I am a very quick learner. I have started to learn that we do wee wees in the garden and not on the kitchen floor. Its a work in progress but I will do anything for a treat. I do need a big garden to burn off some energy and someone that will exercise me regularly until Im knackered. I am also learning that no means no and that everything on tables and shelves are not mine by right (Im a bit of a kleptomaniac) I sleep in a crate at night so I dont get into any trouble whilst people are snoozing and I dont mind it at all cuz I feel secure. I can also use it for time outs when people are doing something I dont need to get into. I will curl up on a sofa with you and love cuddles. My recall is pretty good and Im proud of that cuz I learnt my new name very quickly. I do jump up but am learning not to and I can reach counter tops. I keep telling people I am only checking things out - I cant help it if I have a magnetic mouth. I do chase cats but only in fun but I am a bit of an awkward lummux as Im still growing into those legs and tail. I am adorable though and very loyal.
