#HdmyBoy allows playing of #Gameboy games on a tv in 1080p Created by Zane Amiralis and Joshua de Haan, its the result of a hack to play Gameboy on a computer monitor. By tapping into the digital signal deep within the Game Boy, Josh could generate amazingly crisp graphics, states the projects Kickstarter pitch. After playing some Mario, Tetris and Zelda we decided we just had to share this and take it to the next step. The games can be rendered on a screen at either 1080 or 720p and actually looks quite impressive. You can either scale to original formatting or stretch the image to fit and lose some visual clarity. In a day where nearly every tv has HDMI connections this is a great way to experience past glory without ruining your eyes. The Kickstarter is aiming to raise 65,000 Euros ($80,000) for manufacturing the gizmo. Backers who cough up $125 can receive the full product, which comes with a replica NES controller. Prototypes can be bought for $350. Colour us intrigued. People out there really have some great ideas and this is definitely one of those. Next step of course is adding multiplayer to Pokemon...we can dream;)
