He Shoots....He Scores! Chaser made his debut appearence on the rink tonight, just in time before Michael Phelps comes to swim some laps in it next week. It was Awesome to get him out there and push him around on the ice, and I know he loved it! With the warm weather coming, guess our outdoor activities are on hold for a few days. Its been a good week here at the household. Chaser is doing great. We met with his teachers, nursing staff and pt at the school on Thursday to discuss Chasers last few months of progress and come up with a game plan for the months ahead. It went great. They all expressed how happy they were to have Chase there and how they have noticed a big change in him the last few weeks. His alertness, especailly his tracking, has really kicked into another gear. He seems soo there lately. Chaser made it out to watch Tanner and his Squirt A team pull off a good win on New Praque tonight. I was moving his wheel chair around to follow the puck around the rink- he did great at the rink, and at times, truly seemed to be watching it. Tanner is is looking forward to getting his cast off on Tuesday, just in time for his next game that night. Although it hasnt stopped him from playing hockey, he has been holding back on his boomer until its off! :) With her little toe not bugging her any more, Ava is back to dancing in full force again! To show me that her toe is back to normal, she made up dance for me on her skates last night when her and I were out there jammin to some tunes. Man, I wish my old body could move like that! Chaser and mom are back at Mayo in the morning. They are meeting with an ENT Dr to dicsuss his throwing up that we still havent figured out yet. It sounds like he may be back in the OR on Tuesday for a scope- but what ever it takes to figure this out....lets do it! Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers....we are feelin them and the Big Guy is answering them! God is Good!
