He came, he hugged (his riders & his rival), he swung (from the only pathan’s hips)! Wednesday was all about King Khan at Eden. It was wow Wednesday for KKR fans all right, what with their Knights beating Kings XI Punjab to blaze into the IPL 7 final and King Khan finally making it to the Eden Gardens. The first playoff of the season was all about Shah Rukh Khan. He entered the balcony of the B1 box at 4.44pm, looking every bit the super Knight in his trademark white tee with a purple hood, paired with dark blue denims, hair tied in a little ponytail and a bright golden streak on the right side of his head. Within five minutes he was in his fave corner of the balcony, from where he made 70,000 KKRazy fans wave, cheer and rooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar. And when he raised both arms and cocked a ear, the crowds obliged with an even bigger roar! Just as the clock struck 5 and the sun started going down, the DJ belted out Chammak challo and soon SRK started grooving to the beat, arms up in the air, hips twitching slightly… Eden just loved it and screamed for more. Shah Rukh couldnt be seen on the balcony for the entire Kings XI innings, when he sat inside the glass box, mostly alone. But after the match was won, King Khan more than made up for it. First he hugged each one of his boys on the field, even swinging dangerously from Yusuf Pathan’s hips, and took a round of Eden, waving to fans, blowing kisses and flashing those deadly dimples that made women (and men) swoon in their seats!
