He failed another exam. This time he wondered what actually went wrong. Everything that could have been written about the topic was mentioned leaving aside the obvious one for lack of aesthetics and innovation. He argued a tree is but not a tree. It is everything but the tree. The teacher argued that the exam must be conservative for the sake of fairness. Everybody cannot see the rabbits, blue sky or the brook whispering along. It is the tree that will help in keeping standards just like our phone and internet networks. Dejected, he reconciled to failing another exam. The teacher argued that the exam is subjective as well giving every student the ability to be creative in his own way. Annoyed, the student coerced that the purpose of the exam should be to prove that the teacher is wrong and to find a method to contradict the entire chain of thought. Anything else, would be a purely mechanical exercise. Disturbed, the teacher labelled the student of being idealistic and an anarchist. How could the standards of food, shelter and clothing work if not for people seeing things as they are? Even if everything might be quantum and things might exist at more than one place at once; the book is still the book. The computer is still the computer. As a final argument, the student asked the teacher to observe reflections. Light can transmit and reflect at the same time. I can see things existing in two places at once but not enter both of them currently. The laptop and the book can exist at many places at once everyday in front of our eyes. The teacher chuckled, requesting the students to eat, sleep and die in his world of reflections. The student smiled and promised to create internet and phone networks in reflections.
