He got off the bus, deaf to the pleas of the driver. No one would tell John what to do. The rumors that this was the wrong side of town meant nothing to him. A shadow emerged from an alley, once indistinguishable from the night, a faint glint separated it from its murky inception. Brave as he was, John instantly felt the murderous intent from the shadow, his very soul quaking in danger. The spark of metal soon betrayed the outline of a knife of such sharpness even the moon feared to do more than glance at it. However, what made him quake the most was that no man wielded this blade, but a dog with eyes that had already witnessed the end of Man. John then knew that he was on the WRONG damn side of town. He ran and caught the bus, the driver thankfully had driven slowly in preparation for his change of heart. John never @#$ed with Knoxville again, and lived happily ever after in the far safer city of Detroit.
