He had the drains successfully put in without any complications & is coming along nicely. We had some panic because he has to have drain kits to hook up and drain the fluid daily and we found out that they cost $510 for a case of them (which contains ten), that would last five days. If you do the math, thats over $3000 a month! So we were freaking out! I finally got someone in the phone from the PluerX company and applied for patient financial assistance, he was temporarily approved for a 30 day supply which theyre FedEx-ing us now pending final approval. Yay! Finally some positive news!
