He is so right. If it is “planned maintenance”, why is it that it was only announced today? You mean that such an important “planned maintenance” which would deny online services and access to Singaporeans was not deemed to be important enough to have been announced in advance? If it is “planned maintenance” – when is it scheduled to end? I think like everyone that I have talked to so far – nobody believes what is being reported in the media. As one person said ”this may go down in history as one of the biggest jokes ever. We must be the laughing stalk of the world. We may have by this infamous act lost whatever little shred of credibility or trust that Singaporeans may have for our 149th press freedom ranking media. Surely, any free thinking media in any other country in the world may be asking some of the above obvious questions.
