He guides me in paths of righteousness for His names sake. - Psalm 23:3 (NIV) Restoration - The definition of restoration according to the dictionary is - the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition. The story of Joseph with his brothers and father is very touching and moving. The relationship between Joseph and his father was broken due to death based on his brothers lie. His brothers broke their relationship with Joseph due to their jealousy. It is amazing to see how God had restored all the broken relationships with each other and had a wonderful ending with lots of forgiveness and love for each other. It is same way with us when we broke our relationship with God due to our sins and we did not know how to get back with God again. So since God knows how to bring us back to Himself, He would make a way that we could restore our relationship with Him again. As for the story of prodigal son in the bible on how the son had broken his relationship with his father and his family by running away and living in sin, the son repented, returning to his father and how his father had made a way for his son to restore his relationship with his father and family again. If we get lost in where we are going or if we make a big mess of ourselves and do not know how to make it right, just keep on praying and reading your bible everyday, obeying His Word and eventually God will straighten out your mess and will guide you in the right way again. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:6 God restores our souls!!! THANK YOU, LORD!!!!!
