He staunchly defended freedom of expression, but then he said there were limits, especially when people mocked religion. That isnt staunchly defending freedom of expression! That is saying you can say what you like, as long as you dont criticise me! Please, can somebody give me a good reason why religion should be exempt from criticism, or mocking? Because theyve had 2000 years, and countless blasphemy laws, and theyre yet to come up with a good reason why men parading around in dresses trying to be oh so sincere isnt absolutely bloody hilarious! And thats not to decry men wearing dresses (I do so myself, on stage occasionally, but I dont expect people to think Im ever so wise and holy for doing so)! Stick it up yer arse mate! Ya mams a slag!
