He was about to bankrupt all the other nations. No other nation has a currency that can be backed by natural resources. Africa does. That meant Africa was going to be the king of the hill with actual oil and diamond and natural resources to back up the money it prints. The only one in the world. This would have canceled all high interest debts Africa had. America and all the national world powers would have lost their right to control African purse strings. What other nation can compete with real gold? Thats like allowing the southern states to return to slavery and free manpower. They would eventually own the northern states by the excess wealth generated by paying no wages.
