He was my first date at the Ann Carroll School of Dance ballet recitals and my first love. He has been pooped and peed on, cried on and laughed on. When i was a little girl, he held me in his arms in the rocking chair on the porch when I was sick to break my fever. He can cook the best waffles (not much else haha), and started a family love affair with Queen Ann Chocolate Covered Cherries. Money was always tight and he worked so many jobs to make sure we experienced everything we ever could- from vacations every year to the best educations to get us where we are today. He loved me through my wild days and loved me through my biggest mistakes. I cost him so much money throughout my life (3km) and I was pretty irresponsible and he STILL loved me! He helped me get my first real job at Vanderbilt and the job I am still in today at Baxter. He is such a talented Pharmacist and is so smart. He is the most supportive son, husband, son in law, father in law, and dad. He held my hand as I walked down the aisle- I will never ever forget the love in his eyes as I cried before that walk. Some of those sweet moments only he and I shared are always in my heart. I just love him so much... I hope I am half the person my dad is as a spouse, parent, coworker, and friend one day. I love you dad- Happy Fathers Day!
