He will not be afraid of bad tidings; his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. Psalm 112:7 Thats one of the verses that has been meaningful to us this summer, and today we had a chance to put it into practice. Kind of surprising bad news with our cancer numbers- for the first time since treatment began, the important number went up a ways. Disappointing of course. I suppose we were getting a little spoiled. But one of the first things I thought of was, our trust must not be in doctors or numbers; its got to be in God. The verse I posted for last night was all about praying that when God helped us, it would be clear that He did it. I think thats probably why He let this happen. Amazing how He really listens to what we ask. Thanks for your prayers; it gives us the strength to keep trusting. As always (well, it should be always) we are eagerly looking forward to what God will do. Kirby
