Head Coaches Wanted Capital Soccer Club seeks enthusiastic, positive, hard-working soccer role models to join its 2014-15 coaching staff in the role of Head Coach of one or more youth teams. Successful candidates will have a passion for the game, excellent organization and people skills, and a commitment to developing young players mentally, physically, technically, and tactically. Playing experience, previous coaching experience, and state/regional licensure preferred. Desire to learn and share coaching techniques, methodology, and strategies required. To apply, please forward a resume, cover letter, and list of three references to Capital Soccer Club, 4 North Park Drive, Montpelier, VT 05602 or [email protected] Position Title: Head Coach Dates: November 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 Position Description: The Head Coach will be responsible for the administrative oversight and game coaching of a Capital Soccer Club youth team for the 2014-15 indoor/outdoor season. Duties will include, but are not limited to: * Coaching the team in all league, tournament, and friendly contests * Maintaining consistent communication with players, parents, team administrators, and CSC directors regarding team status, scheduling details, Club policies, performance feedback, etc. * Collaborating with the team’s Senior Staff Coach to create and carry out successful, meaningful player and team development * Assist Senior Staff with all team training sessions * Serve as a member of the Capital SC staff, working with other groups and teams within the Club as necessary * Represent Capital SC at club functions when necessary * In-state travel required, some out-of-state travel may be necessary depending on the age group Compensation: Coaching stipend, travel and equipment allowance
