Head of Transportation & Logistics at KPMG KPMG - Our client is a Global Company operating in Africa, Middle East and Asia. The Group has diverse Business interests in FMCG, Agriculture & Allied, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, IT, Oil Field Services, etc. As a part of its growth and expansion plans, the Company is seeking to recruit self driven, experienced and motivated individuals to fill select positions within the Group’s various businesses. The client seeks to fill the following key position: Job Title: Head of Transportation & Logistics Ref Code: FMH003 Responsibilities Reporting to the Group Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall accountability of planning, coordinating and managing the fleet including related general administration. Manage Company’s fleet and coordinate drivers. Ensure the security of all the vehicles of the Company including but not limited to arranging tracking for all cars, engraving all their parts, etc. Monitor and ensure the routine and need based maintenance of vehicles in conjunction with the Engineering department. Relate with the vehicles documentation desk to ensure that all vehicles particulars (e.g. registration, insurance) are complete. Track and analyze the vehicle wise cost of fuel, maintenance, and other recurring expenses pertaining to running of the vehicle in specified manner. Implement and maintain quality systems and continuously improve methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline Degree/Certificate course in Transport Management.
