Headed to Seattle in August, just trying to find a place to stay! Ive been looking at homes to rent for three days, but everything that is big enough to fit all of us is either booked or over $300 a night! I have two questions.... 1) Is anyone familiar enough with the area that they can tell me where to search for something within a 10-15 min drive to downtown? Im thinking there has to be an area that I just dont know about! Ive looked at Capital Hill, Belltown, and Pioneer Square! 2) What are the fun little places to eat/experience that are out of the norm! Were of course going to the Space Needle, Safeco field, American Girl (for Soph! :)), Pikes Market, hoping to go to the Zoo as well....but really want to find some of the little places that arent necessarily really talked a lot about except by locals :) Any ideas would be so appreciated!!
