Last night the sky was beautiful and if the clouds stay away tonight should be a great night for bonfire , smores and watching the moon in last quarter rise! July 18: Quarter Moon The Moon is at last quarter at 9:08 p.m. CDT. The Moon lines up at a right angle to the line from Earth to the Sun, so sunlight illuminates half of the lunar hemisphere that faces our way. You should be able to enjoy the constellations again tonight! Several constellations of the zodiac stretch across the southern sky at nightfall. Leo nosedives toward the western horizon, Virgo stretches to its upper left, Scorpius is due south, and Sagittarius is climbing in the southeast. Have a great day friends!!! Oh forgot to say!! Had a few people ask about our big boy Wawa ? He is a alive and well and enjoying the air conditioning at home so he has not made it to the store lately !
