Heading to SEMA in a few days as all access media and racer rallying support for my charity for our 2015 race season has me reflecting on how far Ive come thanks to the great community whos supported me over the years. It has really been eye opening witnessing the ebb and flow of the industry, from the position of reporter AND one being reported on at the same juncture. If there is anything Ive learned, its dont sell out, dont ever forget where you came from and whos helped you along the way, and that many of the biggest and most important impacts have been made by those who work diligently and secretly behind the scenes rather than in the spotlight. So to all of you whove done it on your own, whove put in countless hours, late nights, and long weeks with the ambition to help others instead of putting yourself first, I will always be your biggest fan.
