Heads up!! Got word from Annette Manning at the St. Clair County Circuit Clerks office that there is a new scam going around the area. People are receiving phone calls by someone claiming to be a Federal Investigator who says that there has been a warrant issued because you did not show up for jury duty. The caller then tells you to purchase some type of prepaid card to send to them and/or give them the numbers and info over the phone to get you out of the warrant. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! They seem to be targeting the elderly so be aware and make friends and family members aware of the scam so that they do not fall for it.
