Health Care Reform Information… Hi, I hope you and family are doing well. Let me be the first to tell you. As we draw near to the Oct. 1st the health Ins. enrollment through March 31st2014. We all have to buy health Insurance through our employers or buy it ourselves. For example, a family of four earning up to $88,000, or 400 percent of the poverty level, will receive a subsidies from the new Marketplace Exchange Plans (Government health Plans) to purchase insurance thus lowing your premium or you could get a tax credit. If your family makes more than $88,000 threshold, the subsidy immediately drops to zero. Here is the true advice; monthly health ins. premiums will go up starting Jan. 1st.due to the new healthcare reform. It will be wise to get health Ins. NOW to lock in the current premiums which health ins. companies will honor till Dec. 2014. You will save money all year. I have shopped around and found that Blue Cross Blue shield, UnitedHealth One, and Assurant Health will have the lower rates in the RGV.
