Healthy and CHEAP snack to make. Vegan? This is a great choice for you! Crunchy Green Beans & Garbanzo Beans 4 cups (about 1/2 lb.) fresh string green beans, ends removed, rinsed 1 14.5 oz can garbanzo beans ( aka chickpeas), drained and rinsed Sea salt and Cracked Black Pepper Olive Oil Spray Preheat your oven to 200 degrees. Pat dry the green beans and chickpeas. If they are wet this will not work. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, shiny side up. Lightly spray the sheet with olive oil. In an even layer, layout the green beans and chickpeas. Lightly spray the beans and chickpeas with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to your liking. I like to add crushed red pepper flakes for a good kick. Bake for 90 minutes, turning every 30 for even cooking. You may have to cook longer depending on your oven to ensure the beans are crispy and crunchy. Enjoy!!
