Hear That Train A Comin I Hear That Train A Comin Its Rolling Round the Bend, I feel that taste of decadence, It smashes through my head, Before the fire I owned, it was all for you, Not used as burning coal, or dirty diesel fuel. Your love was ice it cooled me down. My life was fire spreading all around. It put me out, but after time. The wick was lit and the bomb was timed Explosions silent, its wreckage shown. I could not really for the life of me, Bring myself to fully see, What it was you meant to me, The charcoal remnants of our life, But I just laughed, but I just laughed Years went by, I stopped to fight, Allowed the demons into my life, Yet I still knew you were the one, Who could stand me up as I lay hung, But the noose fit like a tie. Yes it fit just like a paisley tie, I no longer cared about the fire, Or the people stuck insided, All my family, all my lies, It was then and there I had enough But just like Hubris I thought I must Another year another fire, Though you stopped to be so cool, You let the fire into you, I truly hope that you will come back, Not just rubble, not just ash But the one who I first loved.
