Hear is the Bio of one of our Empowerment speakers for this month: Ina Mohan Born and raised in Germany, Ina Mohan is a certified chef and hospitality professional who used her skills and knack for technology to become an executive in a leading international hospitality software company during a 17-year corporate career. After traveling to over 30 countries managing software projects in hotels around the world, she came to the US in 1998 and eventually to Las Vegas to direct large-scale implementations at Wynn Resorts and MGM Resorts properties. Her life took a turn when her mom died of breast cancer in 2004 and her dad was operated on colon cancer around the same time. Being dissatisfied with what conventional medicine had to offer in treating her parents, Ina started digging for other options, and what she found changed her life forever. She finally started connecting the dots between nutrition and health! Ina quit her corporate job in 2009 and started her own company Belsandia, which is a guide to healthy living and an information resource for the prevention and reversal of diseases from the inside out, using whole foods plant-based nutrition and the lifestyle choices. As entrepreneur with a cause, Ina’s passion is to educate people on how they can take control of their own health. She now produces and hosts health & wellness events in Las Vegas, with her flagship event “Health, Healing & Happiness”, a full weekend conference with 20+ speakers on natural solutions that embrace the whole body, mind & spirit with focus on nutrition, fitness, personal development and spirituality. Attendance of this hugely successful event has doubled in its second year and is expected to grow to 500 attendees in 2014. Her Juice Plus journey started in 2011 when she met Loren Slocum, who became a dear friend and her mentor. Ina has fast tracked to VF and SC within her first “part-time working” year with Juice Plus and is excited to move on towards the leadership positions now.
