Heard an early mix of our new single, You Will Survive, last night, via Skype, from up in the studio. Michael Sciotto and Nicky Moroch nailed the groove, and the mix of their efforts on drums and bass, paired with a deep orchestral production, will make it one of From the Fires biggest-sounding songs ever. Its amazing to be writing and playing with these guys, and to hear the noise in my head become something as moving as this. The words meant a lot to me... it was a tough one to sing. Thank god it only took two takes. Paging Mr. Tommy Lafferty.... Mr. Lafferty... Cant wait for yall to hear it.
