Heard an interesting report on NPR. They interviewed someone about business cards and how they are still relevant in todays business environment. This person mentioned that it is tough to be more in front of someone than with a business card. Think about this, you are handed a card and you probably at least scan it. Next you put it in your pocket and take it out at your desk or before you wash your pant or shirt. You look at it again and if at your desk you may set it in the corner. Now later that day, week or month you sort and clean your desk again and yes you look at it again. Now that is at least 3 times the receiver of looks at your card. Pretty good wouldnt you say. It was mentioned that looking at a business card was also like being face to face with the business and person that handed it to you. Now I have just one more thing to say and it is order your cards from a local printer. Your card will be more personal and reflect your business the best.
