Heard something interesting yesterday and it stuck on my mind. We often get wrapped up around what people think of us, that it drives us to do things that we normally would not, or may not do. Our reputation if you will, we worry about our reputation, or rather what people think of us. Your outer self! Character is defined as characteristics and behavior that distinguishes a person. Characteristics like moral strength, integrity and your values. Your inner self! Now I am not a highly educated man, but I am of the thinking that if I would worry more about my character, my moral strength, integrity and values,... that the reputation thing would take care of itself. I mean that ship would sort of right itself. Thank You Father today for the Christ like examples that You have provided me in life, in Your works and those that walk among me. I praise You for people that You place in my life knowing that I will use all of them for an example, be it good or bad. As Christmas and the day we mark Your birth draws near, I ask Father that You be with those folks who are in despair, those that mourn in loss and those who are afflicted,... I ask that You provide them comfort. Above all Father, I praise You in the highest for all that is good in my life. For all that is bad, I praise You for guidance to see me through, in Your name I ask, Amen.
