Heartbroken today. While a young girl continues life without a mother and I get to witness her pain and her strength, I find myself reflecting on how pathetic us humans can be. How we take life for granted. How we have bad attitudes and hold silly grudges and have unforgiveness in our hearts. How we judge and criticize and get mad about stupid, pointless things. We take each other for granted. We are unkind and selfish at the drop of a hat. I wonder if we all knew exactly how long we have to live on this Earth, and if we always felt convicted to live life excellently, and to be kind and to love each other, how different things could be. Because when all is said and done and we lose loved ones, or we expire in this life, would we not live differently if we had another chance? Love more and accept each other more. Stop our crappy self righteous attitudes. Take time to enjoy the life we are given, and those who are placed by God in our lives. To cherish each other instead of finding fault. Life is so much shorter than we think. It could be gone in the blink of an eye. Some people, many people, dont have another chance, because weve lost special people and there is no going back. We just dont know the number of days God has given each of us. But we can make a difference every day, by the little choices we make. We can choose love above all of that, reach out every day with kindness and acceptance in our hearts....
