Heartfelt thanks for the birthday greetings...and esp for those who responded to my request to message me about where/when we met etc...It has been a great day in Hays, Ks where jacob and I are hanging with the Greathouse family and the North Oak Community Church. Tomorrow Ill kick off their VBS before heading home. Candidly the last few months have been horrific...the death of our executive director, Janes Dads passing, and a personal family issue combined to threaten sanity and more. We are pressing on in hope and in certainty that our Sovereign God WILL fulfill His purpose for us, and that ALL things work together for good...I would rather do Vietnam or prison again rather than go thru the events of the past several months..but God is good, all the time; and all the time, God is good. As scripture says, It came to pass... It did NOT come to stay! My go to verse, regardless, remains Romans 15.13, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that you by the power of the Holy Spirit may ABOUND in hope. My personal acronym for hope: He Oversees People & Events Our God never says :ooops. And I thank Him for His grace and mercy in providing friends who make the time to be friends. I pray His rich blessings on each of you.
