Heartland Development is in search of an experienced Office & Property Manager to act in the best interest of the owner by maintaining the properties, keeping all units occupied with tenants, collect all rents, budget improvements and maintaining records. Must possess excellent organization skills, ability to multi task and have a friendly outgoing personality. General office skills are required and competence in personal computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Knowledge of property management/real estate is preferred but not required. General Office & Property Manager Duties include: • Front office duties, answer calls, greet customers, clients and guests when they come into the office. You are the first impression! • Advertise vacant properties and fill vacancies. • Screen prospective tenants to ensure they are the best fit for the property. • Negotiate rent rate & lease agreements for both commercial & residential properties. • Collect all rents, maintain balance sheets for each property & produce monthly rent receipt report. • Coordinate service calls from tenants regarding maintenance & repair issues • Enforce occupancy policies and procedures, including yearly inspections and comply with local and state Landlord-Tenant Laws • Follow up with tenants regarding delinquent rents • Tenant eviction and property turn-around for new tenancy Skills/Qualifications • Customer Service • Prospecting and Negotiation Skills • Professionalism & Good Organization Skills • Honesty, Integrity, Enthusiasm & Motivation • Excellent Communication Skills PM or email resume with desired compensation to kim@heartlanddevelopmentllc
