Heat of Passion Part 51 Rays pov I drove to my moms house. It has been a while since Ive sit down and just talked to her. I pulled up and sighed before I walked in. The aroma of pork chops filled my nose. Me:Mama... I sighed as I walked into the kitchen. She looked up and smiled at me. Rm:Hey baby *hugs me* I hug back... Me:Mama can we talk.... I ask as I looked around the kitchen... Rm:Whats the matter Rayan. I sighed and sat down. Me:Mama I keep thinking- I cut myself off because I looked in the living room and saw a picture. It was Tina and I when we where kids. I got up and walked over to it. My mom followed me. Rm:Cant quit thinking about her can you?? Me:No and Destiny took me to go see her grave and mama I felt better but she still has a piece of my heart. I sat down and brought my hands to my face and sighed loudly. Me:What am I gonna do. Rm:Well you cant just forget about her...but baby you gotta be happy...Shes no down here struggling no more. Shes fine. God has got her in good hands trust me. I sighed knowing she was right. Me:Yeah you right... Rm:I know.... That girl Destiny is gonna be the death of you she chuckled. Rm:Ima kick her butt I havent see her in months! We both laughed. Me:If you dont mind how about we have dinner over here tonight?? Rm:Sounds good to me.. I nodded and called Destiny. (Phone convo) Destiny:Hey baby wassup?? Me:Do you wanna have dinner at my moms tonight?? Destiny:Yeah baby sounds good...I really dont feel like cooking and I dont feel too well anyways. Me:Alright....Ill be there in an hour or so to get you and DeLyric. Destiny:Ok baby see you than. Me:Alright love you Destiny:Love you too. (End of phone convo) I looked up at my mom who had a smile on her face as she cooked...I looked over at the picture of Tina and I and just smiled..Gotta take it day by day. Shays pov I sighed as I walked into the house. I had gotten a call about Chris...Still NO luck. I forgot all about or wedding vow re-renewal until the caterer called today. I sighed and told her to hold things off. I cried so much today I think Im running outta tears. I had gotten a glass of water and walked upstairs to my bedroom. I felt tears coming as I walked into the room and could smell Chriss cologne.I had walked into the closet and saw all of his things.I couldnt take it so I just broke down. I had to get outta this house and fast!. I grabbed me a bag and packed a few more clothes for Alana and I made my way to my moms house. I walked in and saw Alana asleep in her baby rocker. I sighed as my mom came up and hugged me. I broke down once more. Me:He doesnt remember me mama what am I gonna do?? Mrs.Taylor: Shay you have to be strong for both you and Alana and Chris. Gods gone make a way I promise.All you have to do is pray, everynight, everyday, every minute if you have to! I nodded and sat down. Mrs.Taylor:You hungry?? I shook my head no. Mrs.Taylor: you know your daddy is gonna be home in a few and if you aint eating you aint gone hear the end of it. She was right but I didnt care.... Me:Im fine mama im just tired thats all. She nodded and walked into the kitchen. I picked up Alana and walked down the hall to my old bedroom and shut the door and got settled in. This is gonna be a LONG night without him....what am I gonna do?!??!?!?! ~True to ya self
