Heather wrote--So I left the doctor today and he told me I was a good candidate for elective right leg below the knee amputation. It was that or fusing my right ankle ( its severely damaged and my ankle joints arent even existent) which doesnt appeal to me at all. I have RSD (chronic pain disorder) which concerns me because my other dr said it can remain or get worse . I guess anything is possible but for now, I just want some part of my active life back. Its been gone since May 26,2012. This may be the hardest decision of my life.
