Heaven gained a beautiful angel last night. I am shamelessly stealing this quote from my high school friend, Stacy (Thank you for this!). You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that shell come back, or you can open your eyes and see all shes left. Your heart can be empty because you cant see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you could do what shed want; smile, open your eyes, love, and go on. Betty Schneider, I am so thankful to have known you, loved you, and honored to be married to your amazing son. I hope I can raise these boys to be even half of the men you raised yours to be. Today, I told Christian that you went to be with Jesus last night. His response? Wow, that must have been a really special night! So thanks for that perspective from your eldest grandson. We love you and will miss you dearly.
