Heavenly Father, I come to You through Your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray tonight for all those facing trials in the next coming days. The judge, the jury, the defense attorney, the plaintiff attorney, the accused and the accuser. I have sat on many jurys - more than I care to remember. It is interesting to watch the different expressions - those on the stand and those still seated. This reminds me of another scene in the not too distant future. Jesus is coming back again - after that the judgment. Satan, our accuser, faces God, the Judge, and lists his accusations against us. The list must be very long because Satan forgets nothing. However, Jesus, our defender comes to the podium - Judge Father, I died for those sins, the accused asked Me to take away the list of sins. My blood has washed away everything and the sins are to be remembered against the accused no more. God, the Judge, lifts His gavel and pronounces - the accused is innocent, I see no guilt, Jesus blood has blotted every sin. Enter into Heaven - come and see the home prepared for you. We are the accused, Satan is our accuser, Jesus is our defender and God is the Judge. The movie Gods Not Dead portrays an atheist asking Jesus to forgive him and come into his life at the end of the movie - teaching the atheist now has the freedom of eternal life. I pray for those who do not know the freedom of eternal life yet. Unlock the closed doors of their hearts, melt the calloused hearts, restore joy to them. We dont deserve Your forgiveness but You grant it freely. Its so easy yet so profound - I invite You, Jesus to come into my heart, wash all my sins away, be my Saviour. For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory, forever. AMEN!
