Heavenly Father, creator and sustainer of life, we praise your holy name. Today we thank you for Mayor Bill West of Georgetown, Delaware. We ask that you surround him with your comfort, your presence, and your peace. Grant him understanding and insight as he leads the citizens of Georgetown. May his acts and words of kindness and respect generate community caring and cooperation. Guide and direct him that he might know and do your good will. Keep him from the traps of the enemy that he might know the extent of the freedom found in your forgiveness and grace. Bless him and his family with success.
