Heavenly Father, hallowed be Your name. Help us on this Lords Day to come into Your presence with thanksgiving and to join our fellow Christians in hymns of praise and adoration. As we kneel before You, our Maker, give us joy in worship and help us to declare before all people that You are a mighty and forgiving God. Lord, help us to give the glory that is due Your holy name. Graciously accept the offerings of our hands, and use our gifts in the service of our congregation and of Your church everywhere. Lord, fill our pastor with rich measure of Your grace. Help him to speak Your Word courageously and convincingly, that the hearts of the hearers may be drawn closer to You. Send Your Holy Spirit into the hearts of people everywhere that they may believe and be saved from sin and damnation. Multiply the number of believers mightily, and give them courage to confess You before all people. Give us and our church the grace to believe and teach Your Word in its true meaning, and help us and all Christians to pattern our lives accordingly. Lord, by Your Holy Spirit make us pure in heart and mind, help us worship You in the beauty of holiness, and grant that in word and deed we may ever seek to please You. Above all else, grant us life eternal through Jesus Christ. Amen.
