Heavenly Father, we love and adore You, Lord we thank You for sparing our lives to see another day. Thank You for Your Grace and mercies that has kept us, they are new every morning, they are like fresh dew upon dry and thirsty land, and it refreshed and renewed our heart, body and soul. Lord as we come humbly into Your presence, we place our all before You, everything that we are faced with each day. Lord may we recognize temptation when it soar its head and never make excuses to yield, give us Your power to conquer temptation as Thou didst in the wilderness. Lord sometimes we feel that the world is bearing in on us and others are immune to temptations. We know that You was also tempted; for Your word said “For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin” Lord we realize that all our efforts to resist will be weak and ineffective unless they are powered by the Holy Spirit through the constant reading, studying, and meditating on Your Word. Help us to shut out the world on a daily basic and spend time with You, so we can be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Better is one day in Your courts Lord than a thousand elsewhere, Lord we desire to be armed with Your word so we can be conqueror, empty vessel cannot be effective tools, we need Your word. Blessed us today with the understanding of Your word and help us to retain what we read as we learn to resist Satan with the Word, in the victory of Calvary in Jesus name we pray Amen.
