Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your kindness. We thank You for Your mercy. We thank You for Your grace. We thank You for Your love, and we thank You for Your correction because it serves to make us better. Tonight, we ask the following of You: 1. Search our hearts and help us to let go of anything that may be weighing us down and preventing our progression. 2. Open our eyes and give us strength to break away from connections that You have not ordained so we may make room for the people whom You desire to be in our lives. 3. Open our understanding to Your Word and help us to not only be hearers of Your Word, but also doers. 4. Comfort those who have recently lost loved ones. Replace their sadness with peace. Wrap them in Your love and hold them tight Jesus. 5. Lead us. Guide us. Direct us in all that we do. 6. Soothe our spirits before we turn in tonight, and bless us with a peaceful sleep. Lord, without You, we are lost, but with You, we have hope. We know that You have all the answers to all of our problems. Help us Jesus. These things we ask in Jesus name. Amen.
