Heavy heart heavy mind lately. Then God layed Amber Buckley Canty on my heart this morning. And I was reminded though I may be in a valley right now. Somehow Ill get thru it. Amber lost her mom at 18 to cancer. Then in her early 20 s was diagnosed with MS. In a very short time it she ended up in the nursing home due to how rapidly it progressed. She never got to have children. And became a young widow. This was my fiery spunky beautiful curly headed best friend. The one I laughed with. Cried with. Always upbeat and smiling that gorgeous smile. Went to dances. Amusement parks. Modeling. Pageants. Layed out in the beach. Energetic Amber. But its all still in there! She is better at calling and keeping in touch then I am. She always makes me laugh. Or cry. Depending the day. She has been blessed with a angel of a sidekick we call Huff Puff that checks on her daily. And cares for her like she is his own. Her story has inspired all her friends from school. And FB has given her a outlet to reach out and others to reach to her. After God layed Amber on my heart this morning. I received a inbox. It was a thumbs up from Amber. My God is awesome.
