Heavy overnight rain gradually clearing to the east leaving a day of sunny intervals and a few showers it will feel rather warm and humid another spell of heavy rain spreads in from the west later affecting much of england and wales overnight Friday will start wet in southern Wales and southern England this should clear during the morning leaving a day of sunny spells and scattered showers temperatures 22c in the south 19c further north Saturday is looking like a breezy day with widespread and persistent rain spreading eastwards through the day , making feel cooler than of late
