Heb 5:13-14 13 For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]! 14 But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law. Heb 5:13 milk is the first but lowest level of hearing from God. Milk is the logos (written Word) in the natural mind without the Spirit leading you to the truth (revelation) of the Logos. The Logos alone will not enable you to hear or see Jesus even if He is right in front of you. Heb 6:1-4 most of the modern church spends their entire life right here arguing about who is right and who is wrong and the truth of the matter is those who do such things are ignorant of the work of the true teacher, Holy Spirit. They may have a PHD in theology but they are still a babe. Perhaps we should daily ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us the Will of YHWH as we read the written (logos) Word of God. For eye has not seen and ear has not heard the things God has prepared for us........ Eyes and ears alone are not enough for they are part of our natural state. To receive from HIS riches in glory we must receive from the Holy Spirit, our teacher, who leads us into the truth.
