Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the assurance of what we hope for will - TopicsExpress

Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the assurance of what we hope for will happen, it is the evidence of things not seen. As I look into the sky and I see the dark clouds spread to all horizons, I feel the wind rise and hear the thunder in the distance, I might say, “God, I hope it doesn’t rain.” Despite what goes on around you, let not your hope hinge on what you do not want, based upon what you see, feel or hear. Wherever you stand, sit or lay, in whatever condition you’re in, let your faith shine for others to see. May your walk, your speech and your deeds help those yet to believe in the hope we have. Your faith might be the evidence they need to see, of what you hope in, for them to believe the things unseen. Do you see the enemy’s attack? Do you feel the pains and scars from battle? Do you hear whispers of defeat or doubt in or around you? Do not pray to not be attacked. Do not pray to not be left scarred. Do not pray to be removed from the front lines. Let the hope you have help others see what can be, but is not yet. Let your faith help others see what is and what will be. The Sun of Righteousness rises in all His glory with healing in it’s wings. We trample our enemies like ashes under our feet. Through the word of our testimony, we speak and pray things that are not as though they were, like conquerors victorious in the presence of our enemy, we have overcome. The enemy’s clouds may darken your skies, bring wind to press against you and the thunders roar over you. Expect the rain upon you. I say bring the rain because these prayer warriors dont pray wimpy prayers. They pray in victory in the storm. They stand waiting, confidently assured as witnesses to the evidence of Heaven’s floodgates opened wide for all the world to see, believe and have hope. Whether youre heading into, in the midst of, or coming out of a storm, hope is never lost. God is our hope. He never changes. Wherever dark places we find ourselves in, we will always still have hope.
