Hebrews 12:11 “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby”. When you’re being corrected it is not joyous. The Bible says when you’re going through it, it is not funny. Do not react when the chastening is going on. Don’t take major decisions when you’re being corrected. Don’t take major decisions when you’re going through the process that is grievous. Don’t take life changing decisions in that state. The Bible says it is afterwards that it yields the peaceable fruit. Take the decision afterwards, when you have endured and it will coincide with the peaceable fruit of righteousness and you’ll be blessed for that.
