Hebrews 3:8-9 Do not harden your hearts as in rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested and me, tried me, And saw my works forty years. How many of us are going through trials in our life? Or do we try to go to somebody else we think can fix it on their own strength? When we do not turn to God first, He becomes second in our life. Many times we go through things, we start to rebel against God. Why? Because we wonder why Hes allowing us to go through something this bad. We wonder why we have to go through this, when He has all this power. We wonder if He loves us so much why cant we just have peace and love all the time. Let me ask you this my brethern, if you never go through anything hard in your life, then why would you ever need Christ your life? Do you notice that the more you follow Christ, the harder things get a life? We seem to wonder, the more we follow God, why are things falling apart? He doesnt want us to quit or give up. He wants us to remain steadfast and push through. He wants you to have faith and hope in Him. And when trials seem bad, then they get worse. But if we remain steadfast, we dont harden your hearts towards God, we will remain faithful in what His Word tells us, He will bring us through! And in that day He brings you through, that trial turns into a victory for us. So, we can accept to be in the wilderness for forty years or we can accept to have victory because Christ already provided it to us. Squish
