Hebrews 7:23-27. Now their have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest truly meets our need -- one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. Beloved the Lord would actually have you read the entire 7th chapter for todays Word. I will use the space allotted. Brethren amazingly enough there are still persons in this country and others that worship their Spiritual and world leaders. Speaking from the Spiritual standpoint this is ridiculous. Can any of us pay your sin debt? Yes we are in a priestly line but is our priesthood permanent? NO! If it were it wouldnt end at our death. So why on earth would you put your hopes and trust in a human being? We arent blameless, perfect, and pure. We still have to repent constantly for our sins not to mention those in the Body of Christ. No matter how much you value your importance Man/Woman of God the Lord can replace you just as He did King Saul. So please dont get beside yourself. Let us all from the pulpits to the parking lots be on one accord. Serve Him entirely and not out of selfish desires and lead others to Him out of love. Yes my brethren the only Church many see is reflected in you. Your lifestyle, actions, and words. Dont we know we will give an account for the ones we turn away just as much as the ones we lead to him? Fairweather and imitation love needs to stop.
