Heir to Genghis Khan is a 1928 Russian film starring Valéry Inkijinoff. It forms part of Pudovkins revolutionary trilogy, alongside Mother (1926) and The End of St. Petersburg (1927). The movie is shot on one easy breath, speed and rhythm. Director Vsevolod Pudovkin and the actor Valery Inkizhinov created success to the movie. Pudovkin was surprised by enthusiasm the locals of semeysky villages, the Buryat uluses participated in shooting. Passed 10 years after civil war.
