Helicopter still over River Corrib this evening and rescue teams on Quincentennial Bridge, a person is believed to have entered the river earlier on. Fingers crossed they return safe. Only a couple weeks ago I was down by Nimmos Pier and the exact same thing happened - fire engines, rescue boats shooting flares, helicopters overhead with spotlights.
