Hello ALATT! If your libraries have started getting into the 3D Printing craze, but youre still relying on premade models from Thingiverse, you may feel like youre missing half the equation. Ive just finished creating a tutorial on Autodesks freely downloadable 3D modeling software, 123D Design, that takes you from absolute beginner to fairly proficient in creating your own designs. Some parts may need a little more iteration, but they should help get you started. Currently my curriculum for the in-person class is still only outlined in my own personal chicken-scratch language, but if you have any questions, Im definitely willing to help out.
