Hello Ali, The OC Registrar of Voters has now confirmed the results of the June 3rd primary. While we placed third, I am extremely proud of our campaign - our “little engine that could” certainly put up a great fight against seasoned politicians and lobbyists. Our grassroots campaign relied on hundreds of everyday working people, friends and family to make small donations and volunteer time. Many of you were enthused by the campaign and energized to take more interest in our political process – for me, this is a victory. Whether through your time, your donation or just your good wishes, you kept me going, and it is you who inspired me. Unfortunately the election business isn’t cheap and my campaign has a $3,000 debt and the legal deadline to retire the debt is July 15th 2014. For those of you who did not donate during the election campaign, now is your chance to contribute.
