Hello All, As you might be aware, our Principal Mrs. M. N. Edussuriya will be retiring as the Principal of Leeds International School Panadura from December 2014. The school has organised numerous farewell events on behalf of her. As past pupils, we believe its our duty to pay tribute to madam too. Upon discussion with a few past students, we have decided to collect a minimum of LKR 500 from each past pupil. If anyone overseas wishes to contribute, we can provide you with bank account details for deposits. Please email a request of account details to pastleedians@yahoo. Your private contributions in addition to the LKR 500 are most welcome and this collection is solely to get a valuable token of appreciation to Madam. Your donation could be handed over at the Leeds Campus premises or personally to Miss. Annapoorna Jayasiri. It was decided to collect donations until the 5th of December 2014. Currently, we are thinking along the lines of presenting A Portrait + A Fixed Deposit to provide a Mrs Edussuriya scholarship at every prize giving from 2015 onwards. Any other suggestions you might have would be highly valued. We are also planning to design and present an autograph comprising of a collection of messages from past pupils and teachers of Leeds Panadura. For this we would appreciate if each of you could email us personal messages to Madam along with a recent photograph of yourself + a school photograph (any photo with you at Leeds – can be group photos too). Please include your current details (Place of Study/Occupation, Year of Leaving School) and email to pastleedians@yahoo. Once again the deadline for messages would be the 05th of December 2014. We would highly appreciate your support in this regard. Hoping to see you all in person at the farewell on the 08th of December 2014 at the school main hall. (Time will be notified by Saturday 06th December 2014 on the Leeds Past Pupils’ Association FB page. If you wish to present any personal tokens of appreciation, you can do so at the farewell.
